GDI

BACK_TO_TOP

Command & Conquer takes place during the modern era, a time when an extraterrestrial meteorite crashes into earth. It is soon discovered that this meteorite is carrying a mineral later to be called: Tiberium, which has limitless possibilities. Tiberium quickly becomes the world's leading material in economic growth and military expansion… which is known to soak up the minerals in the ground, killing plant life and is dangerous to humans. Bringing a rise to terrorist factions around the world, increasing their power and wealth. The force that keeps the peace is GDI (Global Defense Initiative). A UN funded agency designed to stop any and all actions against peace. Headed by General Shepard, they are a powerful force, defending the interests of the free world from any threat.

Global Defense Initiative forces (GDI) around the world are in sudden conflict, from every known terrorist organization in existence. And at the head of them is one man, one brotherhood… Kane. They are known as Nod (Brotherhood of Nod). A quasi-terrorist group with their power reaching far back into the past has taken advantage of the seemingly unlimited amount of Tiberium.

On one hand you have GDI, fighting for the continuation of freedom and dealing with the benefits and troubles of Tiberium. And on the other there is NOD, with their overwhelming wealth and power. Nod's horrible experiments with Tiberium have lead to a world locked in fighting. Fueled by the advantages of Tiberium, they wage a war against the nations of the west.

NOD

BACK_TO_TOP

Not much is known about this secret organization… Except that their power reaches far back into the past, with communist connections. The Brotherhood's domain is far and wide, reaching to almost every communist and terrorist controlled country. Nod personal are dedicated to say the least, extremely dedicated. Their forces are dangerous, while not designed to go head to head against GDI, they are more built up towards hit and run attacks. The Brotherhood of Nod's economic state is very impressive, due in part to the discovery of Tiberium. This mineral has given Nod military and global influence that rivals that of the world's super powers.

But of course they are not without a leader: Kane. Kane believes that Tiberium is our future, and has taken steps to this affect. Public enemy number one of Nod is GDI, and conflicts have already broken out around the world as their forces clash in an attempt to conquer each other. Without a doubt, GDI and Nod have a deadly rivalry… To which Brotherhood believes it is fighting for the betterment of mankind.

Make no mistake; Nod is an extremely powerful force. One that, if not dealt with, will succeed in its plans of Tiberium expansion. Added to this is the charismatic leader Kane, who will stop it, nothing to ruin GDI and expand Nod's influence.

Fight for the brotherhood, die for the brotherhood, and conquer for the brotherhood in the name of Kane!

Decide
