Construction_Yard

Description: This is usually the first structure to be deployed (as it starts in the form of a MCV), given to the player at the beginning of each mission. The Construction Yard is the nucleus of your base, and, when deployed, provides the player with the ability to construct a wide range of buildings. If destroyed, the ability to produce structures is lost.



Power_Plant

Description: This is also a basic structure, usually produced right after the MCV is deployed. It provides power to the base, without which most buildings will not function. Multiple Power Plants must be built to provide enough energy to run the base, and if the Power Plant is destroyed, the level of power in the base drops accordingly.



Advanced_Power_Plant

Description: This structure produces double the amount of energy of the regular Power Plant, but costs more than double the price of the original. If you have lack of space in your base and are in dire need of electricity, this is the building to construct. If destroyed, a large portion of the base's power output will be lost.



Refinery

Production Time: 133 sec.
Description: This is the economical backbone of your base. When produced, it sends one Harvester to collect Tiberium. Without this structure, the player would collect no funds, and thus wouldn't be able to produce anything. Be sure to build multiple Refineries for better monetary performance. The Refinery also serves as a storage site for the collected Tiberium.



Tiberium_Silo

Production Time: 10 sec.
Description: When the Tiberium storage space of the Refinery is full, this structure must be built in order for your funds to keep increasing. The structure stores 1000 credits worth of Tiberium, and, if destroyed, the money is lost.



Hand_of_Nod

Description: The Hand of Nod is a very important structure for a growing base. It provides the player with the ability to train infantry units. The Hand of Nod also provides the player with the ability to construct larger and more specific buildings. With the proper resource management, the player can train an endless amount of Nod infantry soldiers.



Airstrip

Description: This is probably the second most important structure of the Nod army. It provides the player with the ability to order very important mechanized units, such as tanks and harvesters. With the development of new technologies, the purchasing abilities increase to larger and more complex vehicles.



Communications_Center

Description: The Communications Center is the eyes and ears of the Nod army. It provides the player a map of the currently discovered land, and serves as an intelligence outpost of the Nod forces. The Center also provides a view of all your units on the battlefield in real-time.



Temple_of_Nod

Description: This is the soul of the Nod base, providing the player with a periodical Nuclear Strike. This is the superweapon of the Nod army, which devastates its targeted area.



Repair_Facility

Description: This structure repairs damaged vehicles, but for a cost. It is much more efficient to repair damaged vehicles than to build new ones. This structure is important during, and especially after, battles.



Helipad

Description: This Nod structure provides an alternative attack method, aerial assault. It is only available to construct in multiplayer mode, but provides the player with an Apache Attack Helicopter. It also enables the player to build additional aerial units from the Weapons Factory.



Sandbags

Description: This is the most basic barrier defense. It provides some shelter for infantry units, but is easily destroyed by explosive weapons, and can be run over by most vehicles.



Chain_Link_Fence

Production Time: 5 sec.
Description: The Chain Link Fence can block light enemy vehicles such as the APC and Hum-Vee. It is the least useful of the barrier structures.



Concrete_Barrier

Production Time: 7 sec.
Description: This is the best barrier defense available to the Brotherhood. It blocks all enemy vehicles and infantry, and must be shot at multiple times to be destroyed. The only problem with it is that most of your own units cannot shoot over it.



Turret

Weapon: 120mm Cannon
Sight Range: 5
Production Time: 17 sec.
Description: This is the perfect defense for the Brotherhood of Nod in early stages of the game. It quickly and efficiently destroys armored enemy vehicles, and with only slightly less efficiency, deals with infantry. Its heavy armor will keep the building standing for a long time, even during enemy attacks.



Obelisk_of_Light

Weapon: Laser Beam
Sight Range: 5
Production Time: 100 sec.
Description: This is the ultimate defensive weapon. It quickly destroys both armored vehicles and infantry. The only negative feature of the Obelisk is the high amount of power it requires to remain functional. Place it around the base to form an almost impenetrable defensive shield.



SAM_Site

Armor: Heavy

Weapon: Surface to Air Missiles
Sight Range: 3
Production Time: 50 sec.
Description: This is the anti-aircraft defense system of the Brotherhood of Nod. It fairly quickly destroys enemy aircraft, and is safely placed underground while not active. It quickly surfaces when enemy presence is detected. If power is lost, its capabilities to shoot down enemy aircraft are also lost.



Research_Facility_[Non-Buildable]

The Bio-Chemical Research Facility is where all the Nod Tiberium research is conceivably conducted. It exists solely for aesthetic reasons, as the player cannot interact with it. The Facility is only seen in Nod single player missions.
